Funeral Meals - Organizing and serving funeral meals for families and friends following a funeral service. Meals in Need - Preparing and taking meals as needed to our church family. Bereavement Ministry - Following up with individuals or families several times during the first year after the death of a loved one. Support Group Ministries - Leading a group in areas of common need and ongoing support, such as divorce recovery, substance abuse recovery, weight loss, grief support, etc. Transportation to/from Church- Assisting people without transportation to and from church. Nursery (8:30, 9:30 or 10:30 Sunday Mornings) - Providing care for infants up to age 5. Text Box: Nursery Scheduler - Creating and maintaining a schedule of volunteers for the nursery. Sunday School Teacher (Grades K-5 at 9:30) - Teaching or assisting Sunday School classes. Children’s Sunday School Music (Grades K-5) - Assisting in preparing and leading 15 minutes of music at 9:30 each Sunday morning. Kid’s Club Leader Assistant - Assisting with Friendship Club (grades K-2) or JYF (grades 3-5) on Wednesday nights. Vacation Bible School - Assisting with crafts, music, activities, and snacks. Third Grade Bible Class Asst. - Assisting with planning and promoting the presentation of Bibles to our new 3rd graders each fall and conducting a five week class for the children and their parents on the use of their Bibles. TNT (Chi Rho) Youth Group Assistant - Assisting with middle school teens.
