Volunteers: Those people who take their time and talents and use them to help others.
We have many people in this church who do that. Many of them do their work unseen, without acknowledgement. The Support Staff of Noelridge Christian Church would like to give our heartfelt thanks to those who do volunteer to help this church fulfill its commission: To bring the Word of God to all, and to minister to all we can.
This month we would like to recognize: J. D. Smith
J. D. has always been a strong servant of God for his church. You may see him preparing communion, greeting visitors or helping with food court. Or you may not see him when he is moving the lawn, holding and comforting a crying child at MOPS or sharing his faith by giving advice and guidance to someone. May God be praised and our church be strengthened by his service! Bless you J. D.! |

Have you noticed the Volunteer Appreciation board in the Narthex? We are trying to show how much it means to us to have such dedicated willing workers. You can show how much it means to you also!
While the volunteers of the month are on the board, feel free to write a note telling how these people have made a difference in your life. Put it up on the board, and at the end of the month, we will collect these notes and give them to the volunteers.
Also, if you would like to nominate someone in the future, leave your nomination in the main office, there will be a box marked “Volunteer Appreciation”.
May this help us to remember we all work together for the glory of God, and the service of others! |
